Just like other plants, trees also need water to survive. But how do trees “drink”? How do they absorb water? And how do they transport it from their roots to their leaves at the treetop?
This fascinating workshop focuses on water transport in trees and begins outdoors in the Technorama Park. In a series of experiments, you emulate various techniques on collected plant matter, among other things, to examine the underlying laws of nature of this phenomenon.
