Astronomers use the telescope to study the vast universe, and biologists use the microscope to examine microorganisms. But under the microscope we can also see structures of many materials that are otherwise not visible to the naked eye.
This workshop focuses, literally, on the cellular structure of blood, hair, skin or cells from the oral mucosa, as well as surprising views of numerous everyday objects. Discovering these fascinating insights largely depends on the correct setup of the microscope and the proper preparation of object.
