What do you see? – Function of the eye

We make eyes at someone, but keep an eye on others. We can turn a blind eye and sometimes get away with just a black eye. But the myriad of idiomatic expressions is not the only reason why the eye is the human being’s most important sensory organ.
At the beginning of the workshop you discover fascinating phenomena about your own eye. Hypotheses concerning these phenomena are formulated and then tested with the aid of a calf’s eye that you yourself have dissected. Further experiments are conducted to better understand how the eye is structured and how it functions.
