Capturing randomness – with dice.
Four faces of these dice are white. The other two faces show a red circle. After each roll, the dice with the red circle facing up are stacked in a compartment. Then, the dice are rolled again. The dice with the red circle are sorted out again and stacked in the next compartment.
The stacks ultimately show a more or less distinct curve. Similar to what we observe, for example, in the decay of radioactive materials.
