"Delta Phi"
Optical phenomenon: caustics.
The surface of this object resembles that of moving water. Illuminated from above, it reflects incoming light rays in various directions. These rays appear clearly as bright spots on the ceiling.
Caustics refer to the concentration of overlapping light rays. The alignment of the wave crests creates patterns here. When the lamp is positioned correctly, the Greek letters Δ (Delta) or Φ (Phi) appear on the ceiling.
