Rhombo Puzzle
Rhombo-dodecahedron from parallelepipeds.
Twelve building blocks (each consisting of two connected parallelepipeds) can be assembled to form a rhombo-dodecahedron.
Such shapes also occur in nature. Minerals, for instance, form crystal structures with often strictly geometric shapes. Calcite crystals are a prime example of parallelepiped-like structures.
