Wave Patterns
Waves on the surface of a thin layer of water become clearly visible with a suitable projection. A vibrating beam produces waves with straight-line crests. Through one or two openings, the waves can penetrate a barrier and produce typical diffraction and interference patterns.
Note the zones where the water surface remains almost still!
