Vocal Vowels
Voice apparatus. Honking becomes sound.
A type of trumpet is connected directly to a pump. It is fitted with a reed inside. If we press air through it with the pump, a croaking, trilling sound is produced.
If we connect this horn to tubes and then press air through it, this croaking sound changes to a tone with a fuller sound and - depending on the tube - the five vowels ‘a, e, i, o, u’ become audible.
