Swiss Timing once with a Swiss flag: The shadow of a flagpole as a time pointer.

This spider's web on the ground seems very confusing, but it soon becomes clear: Wow, the true local time can be determined with the shadow of a single flagpole. The pole does not have to (and cannot) be moved, yet it is possible to read the time at any date. Simply follow the date line in a circle up to the cast shadow and read off the time with the help of the curved coloured lines. The picture was taken around 1 July - but at what time? Find out!
