Pendulum Cradle (Click-Clack)
Pendulum like Newton.
One ball hits the row – one ball bounces away. Two balls hit the row: how many will bounce away now?
Here’s a clue: The momentum of an object is its mass times its velocity. Newton’s law states that the total momentum after must equal the total momentum before. Therefore, two balls should bounce away if two balls hit the row.
