Hundreds of small rubber rings move along horizontally stretched strings. Seemingly at random, from right to left – and back again.
Set in motion by a mechanical system creating subtle movements, the rings produce unpredictable patterns. A mesmerizing scene emerges, enchanting even up close.
Moving Objects is a work by Swiss artist Pe Lang, created in 2016. His minimalist pieces captivate with their play on the boundary between chaos and order.
