Circular Deformations
Patterns come to life.
Ovals form around stationary circles. Funnels emerge, cones rise. Curved lines perform a serpentine dance. Images that, when observed intently, create almost hypnotic impressions.
As they rotate, the flat, colorful patterns send different information to the brain: some things seem to grow larger, others smaller – yet the distance to the disc remains constant. The brain constructs this into something coherent and meaningful, resulting in impressions of spatial shapes moving back and forth.
