Mission Possible - Building Robots

Your team of explorers and science enthusiasts has discovered a mysterious planet. Your mission? Unravel the secret of whether life could exist here. But wild atmospheric storms prevent a direct view of the surface. Your solution? Send your autonomous exploration robots on an adventure!

In this workshop, you will build and program these robots using LEGO Spike. They must be able to navigate arid deserts, winding canyons and - with a bit of luck - swamps. There are no roads or wheels here - you'll need to be creative to develop methods of movement that are adapted to the challenging terrain. Your robots must also be equipped with sensors to detect vital clues such as the presence of water on the planet.

And finally, a robot without software is just an empty shell! Using a block programming language, you will be able to develop algorithms* that allow them to orientate themselves, explore and avoid dangers. Are you ready for the challenge? Come with us and explore this unknown planet and the fascinating world of robots!

*No programming knowledge required.

The implementation of this workshop is sponsored by Kistler Instruments AG.
